This Privacy Policy describes how PetPerps (“PetPerps,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Pet photos you upload.
• Mugshot details you enter such as pet name, booking date, and “crime,” together with customization choices.
• Email address, provided at checkout and used for order updates. If we offer physical products in the future, we will also collect a shipping address.
• Payment information, which is collected and processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser metadata, IP address, and pages viewed.
• Aggregated, cookieless usage analytics via Vercel Web Analytics, used to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
• Error and performance telemetry via Sentry.

2. How we use information

• To generate, customize, and deliver your mugshots.
• To process payments and fulfill orders (digital downloads and physical products).
• To send transactional email (order and generation updates, data-deletion confirmations).
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and uploads that violate our content policy.
• To analyze and improve the Service.

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help operate the Service, including:

• Stripe (payment processing).
• Printful (print-product mockups and, when offered, physical fulfillment).
• Cloudflare R2 (image storage).
• Fal.ai (AI image generation).
• Resend (transactional email).
• Vercel (website hosting and cookieless web analytics) and Sentry (error monitoring).
• A content moderation provider used to detect prohibited uploads.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

4. Image retention

Uploaded photos are retained for up to 30 days; generated mugshots and order records are retained for as long as needed to provide the Service or as required for tax, fraud, and accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service. Our web analytics are cookieless and aggregated: they do not use advertising identifiers or track you across other sites.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR, and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, use the self-service deletion flow at /account/delete or email support@petperps.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

We process information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may not provide the same data protection standards as your home country.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
